Business Development Manager- oXya Canada
Do you want to evolve within an innovative technology consulting company? oXya is a leader in maintaining Critical Business applications hosted on any solutions (Hyperscaler, On Prem, Hybrid). We help Large and international companies increase the efficiency and flexibility of their Critical applications. Today, oXya provides technical services and hosting solutions to hundreds of thousands of users.
As oXya continues to grow, we are looking for 2 strategic and determined Business Development Managers to help expand our vision across Canada: one position based in Toronto, and one position based in Montréal.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client’s business and service needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with prospective/newly acquired clients.
- Partner with our pre-sales teams to create contract-winning proposals for prospective clients.
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders.
- Become a subject matter expert on our business solutions, processes, and operations.
- Remain up to date on industry news.
- Always participate in the promotion of the image and brand of oXya in all agreed markets in a professional and ethical manner
Note that you will be expected to travel in connection to your employment.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE
As a self-starter willing to operate in a multifaceted way, you should also have experience in market development of critical applications & Technical Services (Mainly Critical applications, ERP & SAP Ecosystem), migration to cloud & Data Analytics.
The right candidate must possess top of the line leadership skills with the ability to execute on key business initiatives:
- Over 7 years of successful experiences in strategic business and IT consulting services for critical applications.
- Over 7 years of experience in establishing and maintaining long-term customer and working relationships.
- The successful candidate will have overachieved throughout their career and built strong, deep relationships with a large enterprise company in Canada.
- Basic understanding of all industries, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job.
- Experience with, but not limited to:
-Critical applications, ERP & SAP…
-Cloud based technology
-Consulting Services (including Solution selling)
-Data Services
- Knowledge and experience utilizing data analytics and AI technologies to solve problems or gain insights.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in related field
- Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales in Canada
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Innovative and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose new Services-based solutions for clients
- Ability to manage the entire sales cycle and present the value to C-level executives
ASSETS
- Hands-on knowledge of Consulting offerings combined with the ability to effectively discuss these services and solutions with clients.
- Ideally, experience in consulting service offerings - including application management, enterprise resource planning, business intelligence, analytics, strategy and transformation and hybrid cloud - in project delivery and implementation.
