Reporting to the Senior Corporate HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in influencing and supporting both corporate and operations teams in Canada. Your mandate will be to support managers in developing and implementing HR solutions that support business objectives and drive engagement and high performance.
Responsibilities
- Build strong working relationships with employees and managers;
- Support managers and employees in all HR functions/activities (employee relations, performance management, compensation, talent management, competency development, training, etc.);
- Provide support with employee relations files;
- Participate in the development and implementation of various HR related projects and activities; such as performance management, goal setting, career path development plans, succession planning, retention strategies and other processes;
- Assist in the launch and implementation of HR programs, policies, tools and initiatives that align with company values and ensure their application and understanding;
- Develop and utilize data metrics to decision making (UKG and PowerBI systems);
- Evaluate and develop training programs and facilitate training activities including Health and Safety;
- Conduct stay and exit interviews, analyse the data, identify potential opportunities and roll out action plans accordingly;
- Work with fulltime internal recruiters regarding open positions and depending on business lead the recruitment of certain roles;
- Collaborate with the payroll and HR teams across North America;
- Perform some admin tasks such as drafting contracts, running reports, drafting translating and sending various communications, manage leaves, onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly curious to dig deep with issues.
- Strong sense of urgency; results and action oriented.
- Team player, relationship builder and collaborator.
- Good knowledge of Quebec Labour Laws.
- Bilingual (English is required in order to service our customers and suppliers based in the United States and outside Quebec).
- CRHA designation (an asset).
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and ability to work with various software and applications.
- Proactive, generates ideas and proposes creative and out of the box solutions.
