A Snapshot of Your Day
- Supervise hourly employees to ensure Safety, Quality and Delivery expectations are met.
- Support Team Leaders to ensure that productivity is maximized, and resources are utilized to the maximum benefit of the organization.
- Follow-up as necessary to resolve issues identified through audits, escalation sheets, production meetings and interaction with employees and support staff.
- Resolve problems and implement improvements in productivity, quality and safety.
- Accurately complete Production, Human Resource, Payroll & Administrative reports.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Adheres and supports EHS policies and practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Cascade directives and share information from the office down to the plant employees.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- You will help to cultivate a zero-harm culture through the work cell ensuring employees go home to their families in good health at the end of their workday.
- You will help to stabilize, and control run rates and productivity throughout multiple cells within the value stream.
What You Bring
- Some of the attributes we are looking for include the ability to communicate clearly, strengthen the teamwork within the cells, help to manage performance, identify work risks and hazards with resolution.
- The ability to interface with staff from other departments including order management, quality assurance, engineering, and purchasing.
- The ability to problem solve, and resolve conflicts amicably and efficiently.
About the Team
The team is comprised of approximately 75 unionized employees. We are broken up into 7 individual cells that work in cohesion with each other.
