Job description

The Operations and Sales Manager will oversee all departments and all our organization’s operations, to drive business results while maximizing employee engagement and enhancing the customer experience.

The Operations and Sales will be responsible for the strategic planning, staff supervision, and overall performance of the company.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of driving growth and profitability.

Responsibilities and Duties
● Provide oversight and direction to all departments within the company to drive business results and profitability.

● Lead, manage and support department managers and employees to hold them accountable to achieving current business and productivity goals and improve profitability and efficiency.

● Model and champion the company values in day-to day leadership to create a positive and motivating workplace, that maximizes employee engagement and supports the well-being of employees.

● Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring our employees make customer satisfaction a priority to create customer loyalty, generate referrals and enhance the reputation of the company in the community.

● Plan all aspects of the company’s operations including setting productivity and sales forecasts, managing expenses, and developing monthly and annual goals for all departments within the company.

● Other related duties as required.

Qualifications
● Leadership ability and teambuilding skills to effectively motivate, inspire, and manage employees.

● A “roll up the sleeves” attitude and approach to business and leadership.

● Excellent knowledge of operations and business processes with the ability to read and analyze financial statements.

● Strong analytical and decision-making skills with a continuous improvement pedigree.

● Results driven with exceptional planning, organization, and execution skills.

● Exceptional communication skills and the ability to use tact, sensitivity, empathy, and professionalism when interacting with customers and employees.

● A passion to be involved in and connected to the community through various activities and volunteer opportunities.

● A minimum of 10 years’ experience in an automotive dealership or a related environment with leadership experience.

● Post-secondary education in dealership management, business, or a related area of study is preferred.
