Operational Support Specialist, Aurora River Operations
This role provides in-person support at our Bradford facility location and there are times when it will be necessary to provide support in-person at other locations, including Markham. Although not regularly required, commitments may extend beyond regular office hours to provide support across multiple time zones internationally.

As an Operational Support Specialist, you will:
- Set up proper reporting and documentation for department KPI’s and daily targets
- Assist in research, analysis, and preparation of special projects and reports
- Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings
- Attend meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure timely completion
- Formalize timelines and track completion dates on new programs and processes
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and ensure deliverables are met
- Develop and maintain an efficient filing system for easy retrieval of information
- Participate in the Social Committee through implementing employee engagement activities, including special events
- Arrange facility tour requests, seminars, workshops, and lunch and learns
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on local facility matters
- Process incoming and outgoing mail, manually or electronically
- Support calendar management including scheduling appointments and meetings efficiently
- Coordinate travel arrangements (accommodation, flights, vehicles, etc.) as requested and ensure expenses are submitted through Concur
- Support managers to ensure the smooth flow of information and activities in a multifaceted operation with ever-changing priorities
- Handle sensitive information appropriately and use good judgement in problem solving while ensuring critical timelines are met
- Liaise with project stakeholders to maintain effective communication and a close working relationship with other departments within the company
- Compose, review, and follow through on internal and external communication with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail
- Populate a weekly time sheet for the retroactive capitalization of hours
- Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
You will be setup for success if you have…
- A minimum of three years’ experience supporting Operations management and leadership teams (ideally in a public company environment)
- Post-secondary education, such as a University Degree or College Diploma, in Project Management, Business, Office Administration, or related field (we would also welcome an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience)
- Strong technical skills, adept with Google Apps for Business, Google Office, MS Office
- Previous experience supporting corporate communications, managing confidential information, and navigating in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision
