Mission

Valley Blacktop, part of the Terus Construction Ltd. group, is looking to hire Labourer for its Invermere operation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• General laborer duties associated with a concrete Ready-Mix Plant.
• Required ability to shovel, rake and handle other small tools.
• Operate equipment as needed.
• Yard, Plant & Equipment cleanup as needed.
• May be called upon to run small power tools.
• Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
• Follow instructions from your supervisor or manager
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent preferred or ability to arrive at work on time.
• Physically able to work general labour

• Overtime as required.
• Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
• Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry 50 LBS as needed.
• Use of Personal Protection Equipment is required.
• Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements.
