Experience: 1-2 years
Duties:
- Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work.
- Inspect trucks to detect faults and malfunctions and diagnose to determine the extent of repair required.
- Service, repair, and maintenance of a variety of automotive equipment such as chassis, frame, body, engine, air brakes, steering, and fuel.
- Replace parts, valves, bearings, and gears as needed and repair vehicle cooling and heating systems.
- Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
- Review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor
- Perform routine maintenance on trucks, such as checking batteries and changing oil to ensure proper vehicle running.
- Test drive trucks before and after repairs.
