Food and Beverage Serving Skills:
- Prepare and serve specialty food at customers tables.
- Top up guest coffee/water, as per guest needs.
- Provide optimal guest experience by seating guests, taking orders, serving dishes, and removing dishware promptly and with a positive attitude.
- Describe menu items including daily specials for customers.
- Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards.
- Take and manage orders, communicate them to the kitchen and bar teams.
- Make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
- Have full knowledge of the menu and offer options appropriately to guest needs and preferences.
- Recommend smoothies, wines, beer, cocktails & bubbles, that complement customers meals.
- Comply with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety legislation/guidelines.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant & maintenance of all equipment – report all concerns to Management.
- Prepare & present beverages using the proper presentation techniques.
