Job description
Are you a seasoned HR professional with a passion for people and performance Were looking for a dedicated Senior HR Generalist to join our clients team and play a pivotal role in supporting their organizations growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Oversight: Manage the endtoend recruitment process from crafting job descriptions to extending offers.
Performance Management: Provide guidance to management on performancerelated issues and support in implementing disciplinary actions when necessary.
Union Relations: Collaborate with union representatives as needed to address employee concerns negotiate collective agreements and ensure compliance with union contracts.
Policy Implementation: Advise managers and employees on HR policies programs and relevant employment laws ensuring compliance and consistency.
HR Program Support: Assist with onboarding salary administration and time and attendance management.
Employee Relations: Investigate and resolve employee relations matters to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
Compliance Management: Review policies and programs to ensure alignment with legislation and best practices.
Data Management: Maintain accurate employee records and compile key performance indicator (KPI) reports as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of HR experience.
CHRP designation preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of employment legislation (e.g. OHSA ESA AODA Human Rights Code).
JHSC Certification is considered an asset.
Strong communication and problemsolving skills.
Detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Bachelors degree or college diploma in a relevant field.
