The work involves performing chromium, cadmium and nickel plating operations by electro-deposition using shaped anodes, anode cages, chemical solution pools and other techniques.

Tasks include:
• Control the conditions of parts with very high mechanical resistance at all stages of the process
• Prepare and carry out the assembly of parts with anodes and masks
• Perform electroplating operations using tanks of plating or rinsing chemical solutions, according to procedures.
• Apply and control plating parameters on electronic interfaces
• Use digital and analog measuring instruments
• Participate in the certification of plating baths
• Perform part inspection

Let’s talk about you

Requirements:
• Professional diploma in surface treatment, aeronautical mechanical assembly, structure assembly or equivalent experience as a plater
• Minimum of two years of experience in aeronautics
• Good manual dexterity
• Computer knowledge (basic)
• Good mechanical sense
• Ability to read mechanical drawings (asset)

Some clarifications

Evening shift: 2:20 p.m. to 12:20 a.m. Monday to Thursday

Note: Depending on the rules of the collective agreement, the position could change shift (evening, night or weekend).
