Job description

The division is seeking an experienced Software Engineer who shares our passion for developing and maintaining the Enterprise Capture product line. OpenText’s Capture solutions are deployed both on premise and in the cloud. OpenText Capture technology transforms digital and paper business documents into application-ready information providing a flexible, end-to-end capture solution that includes document capture, classification, data extraction, information validation, and delivery to line of business or backend systems.
You are great at:
- Conducting a wide range of quality control tests and analyzing to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
- Independently working with Stakeholders to understand requirements, develops Strategy & test scenarios.
- Working with lead/manager to develop test plans, schedules, and present time estimations for testing activities to be performed.
- Independently performing automation design, scripting, and maintenance of a test script/environment
- Planning test and diagnostic programs, designing test fixtures and equipment, conducting tests, completing specifications and procedures for products, and documenting results of tests.
- Debugging software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.
What it takes:
- BS or MS in CS or a related technical field and 5+ years of enterprise software QA experience
- Experience with a Windows test environment along with web application testing on multiple browsers, testing REST services
- Experience in automation and manual testing. Test automation experience with NUnit, Microsoft UI Test framework, UFT.
- Ability to analyze information and draw accurate conclusions and Test reports
- Good understanding of QA methodology and Product Development Life Cycle
- Knowledge of ALM tool such as Jira or ValueEdge
- Possess strong problem solving skills, right attitude to debug and do RCA.

Desired
- Understanding of web technologies, such as HTML/CSS/Javascript/JSON/
- Experience with Dockers and related containerization technology, Kubernetes or related orchestration software, Helm
- Experience with Teamcity or other CI Server
- Experience with AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform
