QC Engineer (1 position at Nilai Factory)

Job Overview:

• Assist the QC Manager in maintaining, implementing, and improving the ISO 9001 QMS, including annual training planning, internal audit implementation, and risk assessment.
• Coordinate and monitor quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Receive customer complaints, investigate the root causes, and ensure that the relevant department carries out corrective and preventive actions.
2. If required, the QC Engineer will issue the CAR to the related department upon the approval of HOD.
3. Receive customer warranty claims, investigate their validity, and obtain approval for the warranty claim.
4. Arrange the shipment of warranty-claimed items to customers.
5. Troubleshoot and liaise with suppliers regarding rejected components.
6. Claim damaged items from suppliers.
7. Monitor the inspection of incoming materials.
8. Perform an overall product quality inspection of subcontractors.

Requirements:

1. At least one year of QC working experience.
2. A degree/ master's in Engineering, Science, or relevant qualifications.
3. Able to work under stress and meet deadlines/targets.
4. Good analytical and reporting skills.

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. (alternate)

Salary: RM3,000 per month or commensurate with qualifications and experience.
