Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
1. Invoice Processing: Receive and process invoices accurately and timely, matching them with purchase orders and verifying approvals.
2. Payment Processing: Prepare and process payments via check, ACH, or electronic transfer, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payment terms.
3. Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and other accounts payable-related matters.

4. Expense Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely manner.
5. Data Entry: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions in the accounting system.
6. Month-End Close: Assist with month-end close activities, including accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
7. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulatory requirements.
8. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
● High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
● 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable or related role.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
● Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
● Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
