About this role
We are recruiting for an Office Administrator to join our Nanaimo office. Here's how your role will strengthen our team.
Your responsibilities
- Manage reception duties including answering phones, greeting visitors, and directing to appropriate people
- Receive deliveries and coordinate outgoing packages and deliveries
- Managing the time cards process by receiving and entering data in our databases
- Process employee expense reports, manage petty cash and bank deposits.
- Price and bill out work orders, pull permits, and support projects as needed
- Handle general office duties including ordering office, coffee room and janitorial supplies
- Other administrative support for the service and office team.
Your experience and skills
- 3+ years' experience in a similar office administration role
- Excellent computer skills in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc) - may be tested
- Well organized and good time management skills
- Customer service focused
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Flexible with the proven ability to multi task in a changing, fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, patient and a positive team player

Salary range: $45,000-$55,000 per year plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will commensurate with experience, skills and overall match to the position offered. If your experience is outside of that listed, the salary range may look different. We will discuss in the hiring process and determine the right fit.
