Job description

Our client, a leading Oil and Gas firm, is looking for a Demand-Side Management (DSM) Tracking and Reporting Analyst to work a 6 month assignment in support of their North York office (hybrid). The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours per week at a rate of $35.70 per hour.

The DSM Tracking & Reporting Analyst is responsible for validating all DSM projects, savings costs and incentives. This position helps account for DSM results, authenticate and process customer incentive payments

Responsibilities
• Support DSM Evaluation Process by validating customer participation, including calculation of m3 savings, and customer/service provider incentive payments. Utilize various resources to validate equipment and customer eligibility (i.e. manufacturer websites, Google, Google maps, internal financial and CRM applications etc.).

• Process DSM projects in CRM and prepare Accounts Payable (A/P) batches by validating vendor information and customer incentive payments. Manage return cheque and replacement cheque process between Customers, Account Managers and A/P.
• Resolve customer & service provider inquiries and complaints for outstanding claims.
• Liaison with internal and external stakeholders for resolving outstanding issues, discrepancies with project submissions and minimizing DNQ’s (Do not qualify) in order to maximize shareholder incentive.
• Maximize the tracking and reporting functionalities of T&R system of record to readily provide assistance to internal users and assist in enhancements and business requests.
• Assist in maintaining up-to-date Tracking & Reporting related process documentation.

Scope/Dimensions:
• Processes: Ensure processes are followed and updated to meet Evaluation requirements.
• Communication: Provide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and support external communication to the customer.
Contact / Working Relationships:
• Internal: Energy Solutions Advisors, Business Intelligence, DSM Business Solutions, Customer Care, Accounts Payable
• External: Third parties that may partner or collaborate with the applicable conservation programs (i.e. Service Organizations, Energy Advisors, etc.)

Qualifications
Required:
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide suggestions on process improvement.
• Post-secondary education in business or a related quantitative discipline or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in MS Office; in particular strong Excel skills needed (proficiency in basic formulas and pivot tables)
• Strong overall computer skills and ability to work on CRM related platforms, understand data structure and be able to query data for reporting
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work in a cross-functional environment
• Detail oriented with proven ability to manage multiple processes, handle competing priorities and while ensuring deadlines are met
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with others in a strong team environment
• Demonstrates initiative, self-confidence and a strong work ethic

Preferred:
• 1-3 years of proven analytical work experience
• Practical background knowledge in energy conservation program delivery

Working Conditions:
• This position requires light physical effort.
• The position has a potential for light travel (minimal)
• This position requires normal visual / sensory effort.
• This position typically operates in an office work environment
