Evans Consoles has been providing Control Rooms Solutions around the world since 1980. We manufacture, design and install mission critical control rooms for technology intensive environments. Evans is the largest provider of mission critical controls in the world.
The Project Manager will work with customers, sales, manufacturing and engineering to propose and execute manufactured projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong business-focused and customer service mindset.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage manufacturing projects from pre-sale to completion, which includes quoting, solution development, bookings, managing projects through the manufacturing floor, and closing activities.
- Provide support to internal and external teams, and mentor Project Coordinators.
- Review contract Terms & Conditions for potential issues and discuss with leadership.
- Provide resolution on project issues.
- Understand product and service capabilities and limitations.
- Manage multiple projects and activities simultaneously, reprioritizing urgent items as needed.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES/PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
- Strong business acumen.
- Strong command of English written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Capable of interpreting and understanding technical and architectural drawings.
- Process oriented with a strong attention to detail.
- Team leadership skills.
- Work within internal processes and procedures.
EDUCATION / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / INTERFACE:
- Post-secondary education, preferably within engineering or business, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Management.
- Experience with inside sales/pre-sales, or customer service is an asset.
- PMP Training or Certified, or in pursuit of certification, is preferable.
- Knowledge of architectural, control room, and ergonomic principles is an asset.
