Adecco is currently hiring for a temporary, full-time Shipping/Receiving Associate to work at a nationwide leader in the food industry in Edmonton, AB . As a Shipping/Receiving Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely movement of goods within our client’s organization. The ideal candidate would have both a warehouse and customer service background.
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Location: Edmonton, AB
Shifts : Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:30pm
Job type: Full-time | 3-month contract with the possibility of extension

Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
Assist in merchandising activities, including organizing and arranging products in designated areas. Ensure products are properly displayed and visually appealing to customers.
Accurately and efficiently pick orders from inventory based on provided lists or electronic systems. Verify the correct quantity and quality of items picked, and prepare them for shipment.
Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, and inspect deliveries for accuracy and damages. Ensure all received items are properly labeled, documented, and stored in the appropriate location. Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging items securely, labeling packages, and arranging for their pickup or delivery
Ensure accuracy in counting, labeling, and recording information to maintain inventory integrity
Requirements and Qualifications:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to shipping and receiving
Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Should have a versatile personality as some duties are client facing
comfortable learning to use an inventory management system (custom in-house system)
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members
Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada
