Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

· Trouble shoots and maintains plant equipment.

· Provide project support and coordination.

· Work with reliability team to improve equipment availability.

· Maintains/trouble shoots PLC, computer software, hardware and variable speed drives, calibrates and maintains steam and water control valves

· Passes on information, experiences and knowledge to other maintenance employees in regards to repair jobs, preventive maintenance, problem symptoms, etc. which he/she may be involved with during his/her shift

· Maintains safety standards of equipment and work area according to established procedures and as instructed by the manager

· Required meeting participation.

· Ensures work areas are kept clean, organized and tidy at all times

· Lead team with reliability and accountability.

· Works in a cost effective manner and maintains a high standard of quality and excellent workmanship

· Participate in ongoing training programs as required to maintain and enhance skills

· Responsible for trouble free operation of all equipment on site.

· All other assigned tasks or functions as designated by Maintenance Manager

· Flexible – must be flexible with your schedule to support plants events and activities

· Mechanically Inclined – Required

· PLC Experience would be an asset

· Network Experience would be an asset

· Excel in troubleshooting

· Automation Experience

· Must be Certified Journeyman

Hourly Rate:

· $51.97/hour
