In your role, you will
- Collect and interpret logistics data,
- Evaluate the efficiency of transits
- Identify streamlined transportation methods.
- Conduct transportation data analytics and cost research.
- Overseeing transportation networks with clients and suppliers.
- Prepare monthly reports on operational and financial metrics.
- Develop metrics for transportation analysis.
- Conduct financial and variance analysis for expenses, services, and quality.
- Provide recommendations based on data analyses and research.
- Support Import/export compliance teams and operations.
- Support and assist with dangerous goods moves.
- You may also be required to support logistics operations in the RFQ process with suppliers, determining service levels, shipment coordination, billing/payables and cargo claims.
As our ideal candidate
- You have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, logistics, or a related field.
- You have previous experience in transportation (logistics) or a similar role.
- You have a high-level mathematical skills (statistics)
- You are proficiency in Microsoft Access and Excel.
- You have a thorough understanding of SQL
- You are detail-oriented.
- You have experience in project management.
- You have advanced report-writing skills.
- You have knowledge on Import & Export requirements and transport documentation.
- You have knowledge on Dangerous Goods/HAZMAT
- You are proficient in Incoterms.
