This position is location flexible, in either our Prince George, Kelowna, Burnaby or Victoria offices.

In accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values, and strategic directions of PHSA, safety, including both patient and employee safety, is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone at PHSA. As such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.

Reporting to the Director, Standardization, the Manager, Standardization provides leadership, planning and overall coordination/direction of effective, and integrated, system-wide product standards management for PHSA Supply Chain services. The Manager is accountable for working with clinicians on standards of patient care and product standardization provincially by ensuring the appropriate levels of stakeholder engagement using effective communication and consultation to enable change management and thereby effective implementation within clinical communities (clinical engagement). The role is guided by evidence-based research and the goal of continuous improvement in patient outcomes. Central to this position is leading a team of Supply Chain Clinical Coordinators. The teams are responsible for mitigating risk to patient care and staff safety by managing supply disruptions, recalls, product concerns and new product requests for medical devices, as well as supporting the development and implementation of the Supply Chain’s strategic contract management plan.

Job Type: Regular, Full-time

Salary Range: $102,938 - $147,974 /year. The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education and experience, and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan. Salary will be prorated accordingly for part time roles.
