Job description
Tender Retail is looking for a Business Analyst to join the Research & Development Team.
You are a Business Analyst and want to join a reference team for electronic payment solutions. We have the challenges you are looking for!
Our business area essentially covers payment at points of sale as well as electronic payment via transaction processing infrastructures. Your expertise as a quality assurance analyst is essential in all facets related to the quality of the products.
Our team is the largest in Canada with experts whose know-how covers all facets of payment solutions. Our experts intimately understand all the technical, operational and business issues of payment systems. Their interventions are supported by a solid mastery of international standards and best practices applicable to payment solutions.
What your will do:
Analyze and create functional requirements for payment software
Analyze and document new or revised product, program, service, or process
Document, validate and manage requirements from stakeholders
Collaborate closely with the Product Owner, Project Managers, Development and QA teams
Create comprehensive use cases and acceptance criteria for new or revised products
Act as a bridge between business and R&D teams
Follow and adapt to changing requirements in the payment industry
Work in a fast paced environment
Work on documentation, release notes and some other documents
Support Project Managers and Sales
What we are looking for:
4+ years of experience as Business Analyst
Knowledge of payments industry
Good communication skills
BA Certificate (or higher) from an accredited institution preferred
Proficient with MS Office products (Word, Excel)
Proficient with PlantUML or other modelling tools
Good knowledge of JIRA and Confluence
Knowledge of development cycle including QA
Knowledge of Agile Development

Experience in large retail, quick service restaurant, and tier one merchants
Experience in payment processing, gateways, certification and contact and contactless payment systems
Delivery of software solutions to large businesses with many retail customers
