Accounting Clerk
Ottawa Area
Permanent role
Monday-Friday

We are currently looking for an accounting clerk for a well established company in the Ottawa area. This is a permanent role that includes full benefit. If you have a passion for accounting and are looking for a long term stable position, we might have the role for you!

Responsibilities
In the Accounting Clerk role you will be responsible for:
- Full cycle, day to day AP/AR processing and invoicing
- Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, month-end reporting
- Management of aging accounts receivable/payable and assist in processing applications for credit
- Preparation of payroll entries, creating invoices using ERP system, entering all relevant data
- Reconcile & resolve balancing issues of sub-ledgers
- Provide administrative support to the Finance Department
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Experience with MS Office Suite required
- Degree or diploma in Business or Accounting.
- Minimum 2-4 years experience in a similar role, preferably in a high volume setting
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong analytical skills
- English spoken and written with advanced French
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment driven by deadlines
- Strong organizational skills
