Job description
We're hiring a Production Manager for one of our leading clients in the manufacturing industry for driving operational excellence and achieving production targets. You will oversee all aspects of production, ensuring adherence to best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the production team to meet safety, quality, and production goals
- Implement and maintain standardized work procedures to optimize efficiency
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and conduct regular hazard assessments
- Establish and maintain procedures and Standard Work for production
- Drive performance improvement actions and monitor departmental KPIs
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
- Facilitate communication between team members and supervisors
- Participate in quality meetings and lead investigations as needed
- Support training and professional development initiatives for team members
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and participate in CI projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in injection molding, plastics, or mechanical field preferred
- Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in a high-volume Lean Manufacturing environment, with 3-5 years in a technical leadership role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to positively influence and support team members
- Knowledge and experience in Injection Molding operations and maintenance preferred
- Strong planning and organizational skills
