Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Group Finance Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a crucial role in delivering Finance Services to our brands. This position offers an opportunity to work closely with various specialist functions such as Marketing, B2B, Talent Acquisition, and Technology, contributing to the overall growth and success of the organization.
Responsibilities:
Support with scoping and implementation of a new ERP and FP&A system, including management and design of approval hierarchy.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data by maintaining and reviewing the general ledger and overseeing financial transactions.
Prepare, present and continually enhance the monthly management and board packs, through collaboration with key stakeholders to provide insightful analysis and reports.
Work closely with the CFO in setting targets, preparing and presenting annual budgets, and quarterly forecasts.
Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, providing commentary, root cause analysis and actionable insights to senior management.
Develop and maintain financial scorecards for operational teams, conducting root cause analysis to drive business improvements.
Control capex spending against budget and prepare business cases for investment decisions.
Provide financial support to various departments including Strategic Delivery, Client Strategy, Technology, Marketing, B2B, HR, and Data Science.
Establish and maintain financial control systems to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Manage internal and external audits, tax compliance, and statutory requirements.
Ensure team compliance with company policies and guidelines.
Support with adhoc projects as required from time-to-time.
ACA/ACMA/ACCA qualified with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
Experience in implementing ERP and FP&A systems is an advantage.
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in data visualization tools like PowerBI.
Ability to create and analyze large datasets, create automated reporting
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
An inquisitive nature and a strong interest in data and business analysis
Assertive and independent with a ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to cope effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an international team.
Flexible to work remotely and travel as required.
