Job description
We are looking for a customer-focused, hardworking individual with a can-do attitude, and willingness to learn and grow. As the Content Cleaning Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning and restoring all affected content within a building from the effects of water, mold, and fire. As part of this team, you may be exposed to working extended hours in difficult situations where physical labour is required. We are seeking an individual with a strong work ethic, who is willing to be trained and is motivated to do things correctly and effectively.
Typical duties include, but are not limited to: • Thoroughly follow procedures to clean affected tangible items and building structures to restore them to their pre-loss conditions. • Sort, document, and pack up contents with protection and care to avoid damage when handling. • Provide post-construction cleaning to prepare for occupancy. • Maintain a clean and safe work site, ensure Company, Health and Safety Policies and Procedures are being followed. • Support and participate in continuous improvements in skills and training. • Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the project. • Complete required paperwork daily as required by the Emergency Manager. • Additional duties as required. Requirements: • Must have a valid Manitoba driver’s license and be able to provide criminal background and child abuse register check. • Maintain a high level of personal grooming and appearance. • Positive & professional attitude. • Meet company standards for attendance and punctuality. • Ability to work unsupervised, and in a team environment. • Practical knowledge of safe operation of power and hand tools. • CSA steel toe footwear and headwear must be worn at all times.
