Dream Payments is looking for an Program Manager to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. As an advocate for both our external clients and internal cross-functional teams, the Program Manager will be at the helm of innovative projects that help drive our business forward. You will lead various types of projects and teams in an organized way to drive growth, optimization and provide exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be adaptable, proficient in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid SDLC methodologies, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop program plans and roadmap that aligns with the company’s strategic and long-term objectives, in collaboration with senior management and Product owners.
- Prepare project schedules, gather inputs and estimates from work package owners, and assist with determination of project scope that is scheduled in manageable components.
- Manage multiple related projects in a coordinated way, from initiation and planning through to execution, delivery and closure, taking into account cross-project dependencies and constraints.
- Monitor project schedule, scope and resources, ensuring efficient allocation and resource utilization.
- Report regularly on program and project status, including weekly progress against planned milestones, key performance indicators, and topics for management attention.
- Identify, assess, and plan mitigation strategies for risks and issues at the project and program level.
- Build professional working relationships with stakeholders including team members, senior leaders, external partners and clients, ensuring seamless communication and engagement.
- Conduct and facilitate meetings with clients such as project kick-off, requirements gathering, joint project planning, design workshops, weekly status, user acceptance, production readiness, and project closure.
- Assist Product teams with quarterly release planning and maintaining the Product and Sprint backlogs.
- Support the Product team throughout design, development, and testing, act as a mentor and coach the team in solving complex problems.
- Build a trusting and safe environment where issues can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or judgment, with an emphasis on collaboration and problem solving.
- Support and lead process improvement initiatives as a servant leader within the team, encouraging adoption of best practices to help the team improve quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years’ experience in project management, especially managing multiple projects or programs.
- University degree (Bachelor's) in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred Project Management certification (PMP) or equivalent experience.
- Preferred Agile/Scrum certification (CSM, PSM) or equivalent experience.
- Experience with planning and delivering financial, software or technically oriented products.
- Preferred experience with Zoho Projects, Jira, and Confluence.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and strong leadership skills.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to think ahead and anticipate risks, issues, and other challenges that could arise.
- Effective customer relationship-building skills with the ability to instill confidence in the client.
