Mission                                                          

The main role of the Project Manager is to coordinate requests for environmental authorizations, working in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide support for our clients in executing projects in compliance with environmental regulations while minimizing environmental impacts. Our projects are extremely varied in nature, and are executed on behalf of public and private clients.

Primary Responsibilities

• Prepare certificates of coverage and requests for review, ministerial authorizations or declarations of conformity  
• Plan, coordinate and conduct environmental impact studies and other federal or provincial environmental assessments, as part of a multidisciplinary team 
• Collaborate with the team to develop environmental surveillance programs  
• Draft environmental specifications  
• Oversee and provide support for members of the team in executing mandates  
• Manage project budgets and schedules  
• Ensure quality control for completed work  
• Take part in preparing the offer of service and business development  

• Bachelor of Science degree in environment, ecology, biology, geography, or equivalent education pertaining to projects and their impact on the environment
• Pertinent knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations , both provincial and federal (REAFIE, RAMHS, LQE, LP, LEI,etc.)
• 3-5 years of practical experience related to environmental authorizations or environmental impact studies  
• Experience in a private consulting engineering firm, a significant asset  
• Member of the ABQ or AQEI, an asset  
• Excellent writing skills and oral and written communication skills in French  
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for occasional travel (eg: site visits, client meetings, and other)
• ASP card, an asset
