Job Title: Communications Associate

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Communications Associate to join our team. The Communications Associate will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of our communication strategies across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and a creative mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and execution of comprehensive communication plans to promote company initiatives, events, and projects.
- Draft, edit, and proofread various communication materials including press releases, blog posts, newsletters, and social media content.
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and insights for content creation.
- Manage company social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends, and provide regular reports and analysis.
- Support the planning and execution of events, including media relations and promotional activities.
- Assist in maintaining the company website and other digital platforms, ensuring content accuracy and relevance.
- Collaborate with external partners such as agencies, vendors, and media outlets as needed.
- Handle inquiries from media, stakeholders, and the public in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, social media management tools, and content management systems.
- Knowledge of AP Style and basic graphic design principles is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving and content creation.
