Hi-Mark Drywall (2011) Ltd. is looking to hire 3 Drywall Installers to join its’ team asap!
Job Duties
- Measure, cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings
- Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
- Cut and install metal corner beads in order to protect exterior corners
- Using a trowel and broad knife, fill holes, joints, cracks and nail indentations with joint compound
- Allow coat to dry and smooth out excessive compound
- Sand seams and joints, as well as applying successive coats of compound
- Fabricate and install metal ceiling grids, place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings
Job Requirements
- Completion of secondary school
- On the job training will be provided
- Drywall installer and finisher trade certification is an asset but not compulsory
- Must be willing to travel across Lower Mainland
Job Location: 13054 107 Avenue, Surrey, BC – V3T 2G3 and Various Locations across the Lower Mainland
Wages: $28.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week, Full time, Permanent position
Overtime starts after 40 hours per week
