Job description

Are you a seasoned Production Associate seeking a dynamic role in a thriving manufacturing environment? Join our team at North Service Rd, Windsor, where you'll be an integral part of our Powder Coating operations in the manufacturing plant.

Production Associate Responsibilities:
As a Production Associate in this Windsor plant, you'll be immersed in a fast-paced environment, working on the hang line, ensuring the continuous movement of large parts through the paint chamber. Your tasks will include hanging items like side steps, shopping carts, bike racks, and outdoor furniture onto hooks on a conveyor system. The role of production associate demands a keen attention to detail as you inspect parts for defects coming out of the paint area, addressing issues through grinding.

Hard Skills Required:

Assembly experience
Production line proficiency
Ability to lift 50lbs without issue
Working collaboratively in teams of 2-3, you'll play a pivotal role in the quality control process, ensuring all parts are defect-free before reaching the racking system or boxing area. In the bumper area, you'll utilize an assisted lift to handle bumpers, adding nuts and colts, with quality control conducted using a high-tech camera.

Shifts Available:

Rotating Days/Afternoons: Days (6:45 AM - 2:45 PM); Afternoons (2:45 PM - 10:45 PM, two weeks per schedule)
Straight Nights: 10:45 PM - 6:45 AM
All shifts are scheduled Monday to Friday.

Starting Wage: $17.55/hr

New Hire Orientations: Offered weekly on Mondays for new employees.

Qualifications
- Must be availability for full-time hours
- Ability to work ongoing (no seasonal roles available)
- Follow both written and verbal instructions in English
- Must have 6 months prior experience in a manufacturing setting
