About the Company:
Our client is an established civil construction company specializing in rehabilitation and construction services in the Durham Region. Operating for 15+ years, they have successfully built their organization and secured many projects in their industry. They are rapidly growing and are seeking a Licensed DZ Driver to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver material and aggregates to and from job sites across Durham Region
- Operate company equipment in a safe and effective manner
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on company truck and auxilliary equipment that is used
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections
- Work on site with auxiliary equipment as required
- Perform manual labour if required
- Adhere to all Health and Safety Policy and Procedures
- Other duties assigned
Requirements:- Minimum 3 years of experience operating a heavy equipment vehicle
- Valid DZ Driver's License with a Clean Driver's Abstract
- Knowledge of CVOR requirements (log books, hours of service, inspections, etc.)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong knowledge of Health and Safety Standards and Regulations
