Your Role at GEI.
GEI is seeking one casual on-call Ecohydrologist to join our ecological restoration team which includes expertise in terrestrial and aquatic ecology, species at risk, landscape architecture, climate change, Indigenous engagement, environmental engineering, hydrogeology, and fluvial geomorphology. The Ecohydrologist would work collaboratively with the natural science and engineering teams to develop, implement, and analyze site to watershed scale ecohydrological monitoring programs (baseline, during construction, post-restoration) for retained, created and to be restored wetland habitats. The Ecohydrologist would also provide technical advice to the natural science and engineering teams regarding the design, implementation and monitoring of mitigation, enhancement and restoration plans, in order to establish the required ecohydrological conditions to maintain/restore wetland habitats
