About You
We’re seeking a resulted-focused, innovative, self-driven and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as our Machine Operator. Based out of our Mississauga, Ontario location, you will be expected to follow Standard Operating procedures to safely operate equipment that coats and converts work into finished product and/or finished potted product.
You will:
- Maintain extraordinary standards of customer service and reputation by performing automated and manual processes including masking, gelling and conformal coating, adhering to the production schedule.
- Consistently deliver on high standards of product care and procedural accuracy by following safe handling procedures for all, by maintaining workplace protocols pertaining to ISO13485:2016, ISO 9001:2015, IPC-A-610 standards and by ensuring electrostatic sensitivity procedures are rigorously followed.
- Maintain up-to-date, accurate paperwork by correctly recording all required information legibly and accurately. Annotate comments when quality concerns are noticeable.
- Maintain highly function equipment by reporting machine malfunctions promptly to the production supervisor or other manager and performing all scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks.
- Process orders diligently, and with a sense of urgency by reviewing job requirements and standard times, then executing process steps from first article production through to parts read for final QC.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, clean, ergonomically sensitive productive workplace by observing best housekeeping practices for equipment and products use, storage and handling, and by maintaining full compliance with local, state, and federal safety requirements
Requirements
- High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
- Minimum 2 years’ production experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in an electro-mechanical setting
- Knowledge of IPC standards preferred
- Must be able to work on a fast-paced schedule throughout the shift.
- Ability to stay focused doing repetitive work.
- Ability to work overtime as needed
Physical requirements:
- Position requires at least 90% of time on the production floor standing/walking
- Ability to lift 40lb for short periods of time.
- Manual dexterity is a plus
