The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for daily treasury activities as it relates to banking, cash management and hedging. This position will work closely with the Senior Treasury Specialist and assist with timely and accurate reports for both treasury and FP&A activities. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Review daily bank account, ATM and vault activities and effect transactions to ensure sufficient levels exist to support business activities.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts to accurately track, organize and plan for incoming and outgoing cash requirements.
- Assist in preparing and coordinating the submission of all bank reporting including but not limited to monthly borrowing base certificates and quarterly bank covenant reports.
- Daily execution of FX hedges in alignment with corporate strategy.
- Analyze and reconcile monthly hedge positions.
- Provide ad hoc support with financing agreements and documentation.
- Assist Senior Financial Analyst and Finance Supervisor to collect data for internal and external reporting and ad hoc analysis.
Qualifications: - Post-secondary degree in Business, Commerce, Management Accounting or Financial Accounting with CPA, CFA, CTP designation in process.
- 2-3 years related Canadian experience.
- Advanced excel skills, SQL or Power BI experience is an asset.
- Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Initiative-taker who can work independently and interface with all relevant internal teams and external business partners as needed.
