Work Arrangements:Due to the nature of the work and operational requirements, this position will require some physical presence at the NRC work location identified in the form of a hybrid work arrangement (a combination of working onsite and offsite).

We are looking for a Real Property Officer to support our Real Property Planning and Management Branch. The Real Property Officer would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.

 

The Real Property Officer supports the NRC in its stewardship and management of its real estate portfolio with traditional portfolio administration practices with respect to transaction management.  The successful candidate will be accountable for the administrative support of the real property portfolio transactions across several disciplines including: real estate services (leases, licenses of occupation, disposals and acquisitions), and accommodation management.  A core responsibility is the preparation of  leasing and letting agreements for clients across Canada,  fulfilling legal, policy and administration obligations to ensure  contractual commitments are being met as well as research and market analysis of real estate trends. 

 

The incumbent plays a key role in supporting the NRC’s research and development facilities to ensure that the real property transactions are in alignment with the objectives of the research centres.

Education

Post-Secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field to the position. An acceptable combination of education, training and/or experience relevant to the position might be accepted.

Compensation

From $64,022 to $75,389 per annum. 

 

In addition, the incumbent who meets the language requirements will  receive the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 per year.
