Parts Manager – RV Dealership

Our busy Island Dealership is looking to hire an experienced Parts Manager. If you are driven to help people, passionate about customer service, and ready to lead a successful team then this is the opportunity for YOU! As Parts Manager, our customers and your staff will look to you for guidance, leadership and expertise.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in operations/departmental planning
• Monitor staffing attendance
• Interview applicants for department
• Schedule vacation and time off requests from parts staff
• Problem solving with parts staff
• Be available to attend to "in the moment" needs of your team
• Ensure a respectful workplace for all staff
• Create annual budgets
• Reconcile daily parts invoices
• Track the daily gross sales of parts department
• Reconcile and report shortages and/or damage
• Reconcile parts/warranty return reports
• Provide on-the-job training for parts department staff
• Compile and analyze monthly management reports
• Maintain tight control over parts inventory
• Ensure the quality of customer service provided by parts department
• Coordinate parts marketing
• Calculate and submit monthly obsolescence reports
• Hold weekly department meetings
• Attend weekly manager meetings

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma and five years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Operator Driver's License (must be insurable)

Compensation

• $70,000.00 to $80,000.00 annually
