Responsibilities:
- Provide dietary services in accordance with company guidelines and federal and provincial laws and regulations.
- Complete assessments of our Residents and adapt nutritional plans as needed.
- Implement personalized nutrition strategies.
- Deliver client nutrition recommendations to nurses and aides.
- Provide nutrition education and counseling for patients.
What you need to succeed:
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Dieticians of BC
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with peers, residents, visitors, and operational partners to uphold our Optima Living values.
- Experience as a consultant dietician is considered an asset
Conditions of Employment
- Completion of First Aid
- Clear Police Information Check
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- COVID-19 vaccination proof. This requirement may be waived if you have received an exemption through the provincial government.
