Job description

This is a contract position for a Software Developer for our public sector client.
Work location: North York
Duration: Twelve Months
7.25 hours/day
This is a Hybrid role that requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days of the week (This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non-negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.)

Responsibilities
This developer will participate in all aspects of the software delivery lifecycle of the FLHSD solution and help deliver:
- Entity modelling, maintenance and enhancement of Dataverse data model
- PowerApps development
- User interface changes in the PowerApps Portals, including out of the box as well as customizations to enable UI features
- PowerAutomate workflows
- Application reports and dashboards
- DEVOPS pipelines, code promotions and build/release automation
- Data export and synchronization processes and workflows
- Performance improvements and tuning for PowerApps and Power Automate
- Unit testing, support system integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure quality of FLHSD solution components

- Maintenance of related technical documentation
- Support the FLHSD solution, including triaging and addressing technical issues/defects
- Document and manage issues and bugs identified in Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Review existing solution and identify/resolve architectural issues, perform impact analysis of changes to support additional business requirements and performance bottlenecks
- Assist with other cloud-related initiatives and projects within CSIMB
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Development experience in Power Apps, Portals, Power Automate, and model driven applications
- Experience in Power Platform Administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance improvements, capacity planning, auditing within Power Platform and Dynamics 365
- 3+ years experience with developing scalable applications in Azure Cloud and PowerApps
- 3+ years experience with Azure DevOps
- Microsoft certifications around Azure cloud competencies
- 5+ years of experience in conducting technical evaluation and assessment of options for technical design issues
