Looking to join a widely known and respected, family-owned Mechanical Contractor with over 70 years’ of experience in the industry? Our client is known for providing custom mechanical solutions for institutional & commercial projects across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. With a long-standing reputation in the area, this client has a secure and long-standing client base and is currently working on multiple large-scale projects. Now on a growth trajectory, our client is ready to bring in a new team member to help them achieve their future goals. 

Your new role:

We are looking for an individual who will be joining this well-established team as a Project Manager/ Estimator. If successful, you will be responsible for ensuring the success of your assigned project(s), including the planning, management, and execution of projects. Day-to-day tasks include, but are not limited to, communicating project expectations and goals to other team members, enforcing a site-specific health and safety plan, enforcing schedule deadlines throughout the project, submitting quotations, being responsible for coordination of site drawings, monitoring job costing, and prepare reports for review and other duties as required. You will also be expected to do some estimating. 

What you’ll need to succeed:

To succeed as the Mechanical Project Manager/ Estimator, you will have 3 - 5+ years in the mechanical construction industry and be eager to learn and grow in the role and with the organization. You will need to be familiar with Mechanical Contracting and associated components, be detail-oriented, and be someone who can work independently, though also work well in a team. You will be approachable and professional with customers, proficient in Microsoft Office products, and ideally have experience with estimating.
