Durabuilt Windows & Doors Inc. is seeking to hire Supervisor – assembly to join our team at 10920 178 Street, Edmonton, AB, T5S 1R7. All candidates must be willing to join a team environment to strengthen and grow our current crew with a positive attitude and character.

We offer:

• Wage: $27.95 per hour
• Hours per week: 30 – 40 hours per week

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of workers
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity
• Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Conduct and attend meetings to discuss goals to be achieved
• Ensure productivity and product quality
• Establish work schedules
• Train or arrange for training
• Oversee safety of operations
• Recommend personnel actions
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Set up machines and equipment
• Prepare and submit reports

Qualifications and Skills:

• Must be able to communicate in English
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
• Ability to supervise 5-10 people
• Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks; Physically demanding; Manual dexterity; Attention to detail; Combination of sitting, standing, walking
