Brandt Tractor Ltd. located at 2 Castleview Drive, Brampton, Ontario L6T 5S9 has a full-time permanent position for a Territory Manager (Technical Sales Specialist) within our Positioning Technology Division, reporting to the Sales Manager. This is not a managerial position, but a technical sales position focusing on Topcon/Sokkia.

Duties

• Sales of Positioning Technology from Topcon/Sokkia used in land surveying - new & used products to existing and new clients. • Minimum of seven personal calls per day in assigned territory. • Assist with customer relations. • Assist with account receivable collection. • Submit call reports weekly. • Submit regular reports. • Assess clients' needs and resources and recommend the appropriate solutions. • Develop reports and proposals as part of sales presentation to illustrate benefits from use of specific position technology solutions. • Prepare and administer sales contracts. • Consult with clients after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support. • Troubleshoot technical problems related to position technology solutions. • Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of position technology.

Experience

• Must have advanced knowledge of Topcon/Sokkia positioning equipment and Magnet Software. • Must have previous sales experience of positioning technology. • Strong customer service skills. • Highly motivated and self-directed. • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. • Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts. • Post-secondary education in Land Surveying, Engineering, or Geomatics considered an asset. • Knowledge of GPS, networks, coordinate systems, mapping, elevation, and level are all considered assets. • Must be able to obtain or have a valid passport, and be able to travel internationally. • A recent driver’s abstract will be required. • English is the language at the workplace.

Wages and Benefits • Wage is based on salary plus commission. The salary is set at $35 per hour plus a % of sales based on specified metrics. • Comprehensive benefit plan including life, disability, health and dental. • Pension.
