Education Level: 4 year university education in either chemical, metallurgical, electrical, mechanical, civil, physics, etc. engineering and/or computer or environmental science or by having the equivalent level of education. .

JOB OVERVIEW

 

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of a  Senior Engineer-Modeler/Programmer for the Simulator Training department of the Training organization

 

Reporting to the Manager Technology of the Software Section of the Simulator Training Department , this position is responsible to provide specialized technical services to customers in nuclear and thermal generation facilities and related support functions.

 

Key accountabilities include providing recommendations as a technical expert by providing technical advice, guidance and consultation, and services in a designated segment of the assigned technical discipline (e.g., chemistry, metallurgy, electrical, civil and mechanical engineering, physics, environmental science, computer engineering, etc.). Provide general services in other segments of the discipline.
