Job description

This is a contract position for a Business Analyst for our public sector client.
Work location: North York
Duration: Twelve Months
7.25 hours/day
This is a Hybrid role that requires the candidate to be onsite 3 days of the week (This is a mandatory requirement of the role and is non-negotiable outside of exceptional circumstances.)

Responsibilities
- CYMH BI enhancements
- Intellihealth enhancements

Business analysis skills
- Strong experience of working with business team to identify and gather requirements for Business Intelligence enhancements or defect fix items
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills

Data analysis skills
- Proficiency with MS Excel and pivot tables/charts and Python scripting

Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in designing, developing and deploying business intelligence and business analytics solutions that leverage IBM Cognos Analytics

- Experience in performing deep-dive data analysis to resolve data issues and answer questions from business
- Strong quantitative analysis skills, experience with data mining on large and complicated data assets
