Summary of the role 
The Team Leader, Site Quality Assurance is responsible for a team of technicians, engineers, and engineering candidates, all deployed on our hydroelectric sites across Canada. 

Team members are responsible for implementing and applying the Andritz quality assurance system. They ensure the quality of installed equipment through installation manuals, drawings and other engineering documents. The team leader is responsible for meeting the quality assurance needs of the job sites under his or her responsibility.

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

•    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience;
•    At least 3 years of experience in managing a team;
•    Passion for Quality and integrity;
•    Experience working on construction Sites;
•    Hydro experience is an asset;
•    General knowledge on mechanical measurement devices;
•    Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings;
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel);
•    Knowledge of AutoCAD;
•    Practical knowledge of 3D measuring equipment, an asset;
•    On site Safety training;
•    Effective communication skills (oral and written) in both French and English;
•    Willingness to travel to sites for short periods;
