The company is the leading manufacturer of oil-free centrifugal coolers with operations worldwide. With a growing forecast of orders, we are now expanding our Montreal head office and have many permanent opportunities!
1 day shift open: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
1 evening shift open: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Salary from $23.50 to $30 / hour (depending on experience)
2$ evening premium

Schedule:
Day shift: 7am to 3:30pm
Evening shift: 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Responsibilities
As a Welder, your main mission will be to :
Read blueprints for location, position and dimension.
Organize and assemble parts.
Weld structures and parts together, to ensure watertight joints. -
Examine work, weak points and defective sections so that they can be repaired.
Shape and fabricate parts.
Clean work using scrapers, wire brushes and cleaning solvents.
Qualifications
- Ability to weld joints with minimal supervision.
- Able to work alone.
- Written/verbal communication skills (English/French)
- Repair defective welds using appropriate tools.
- Team player, able to adapt to shift work and sometimes long hours.
- Good mechanical aptitude.
- Physically fit and safety conscious.
- Must be able to lift packages up to 50 lbs.
- No skin or respiratory allergies.
Minimum experience required
1-2 years
Previous welding experience.
Minimum training required
Post-secondary education or related experience.
Technical school.
