Our client is looking for a Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of their projects. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and leadership skills, with a proven track record of managing project timelines, budgets, and resources. As a Project Manager with their team, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful completion of projects, fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams, and maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes that meet or exceed client expectations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, timelines, budget, resources, and deliverables.
- Lead project teams in the execution of plans, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and within budget.
- Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders, identifying and addressing potential risks and issues.
- Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high performance work environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Client Engagement:
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring project objectives align with client expectations.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management:
- Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Implement risk management plans to address potential obstacles and ensure project success.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring financial goals are met.
- Optimize resource allocation and utilization to maximize efficiency and productivity. Quality Assurance:
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to guarantee the delivery of highquality project outcomes.
- Conduct regular project reviews to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- 8+years of proven experience as a Project Manager with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience specializing in the Canadian public sector and financial industry, demonstrating a deep understanding of the intricacies and specific requirements within these sectors."
- Professional certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) are often preferred.
- o Experience in creating and managing project budgets.
- Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes and the ability to ensure project deliverables meet established standards.
- Ability to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in project management, business administration, or a related field
