Job description

We are looking for an Database Coordinator possessing a business-oriented mindset who can guide the future development of how we store, manage and ultimately use data throughout our business. The ideal candidate understands how the tools and processes behind data management ultimately drive the business intelligence that informs key decision makers. This is a job perfect for someone who appreciates the importance of efficiently transforming data into the insights that provide a competitive edge to business operations. The successful candidate will combine business acumen with excellent communication skills, able to engage in complex analysis while translating solutions into nontechnical terms for key users. Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in management information systems (MIS), computer science, information systems, or information technology
- 5+ years of experience with work with databases, data procedures, and data administration
- 5+ year(s) experience in data coordination, data managements, and data analysis
- A strategic, business oriented mindset with a strong understanding of how to use information to optimize key strategic and day-to-day decisions.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing data frameworks and driving continuous improvement
- Familiarity with database design and current technologies
- High level proficiency with Microsoft Office.  Experience with Crystal reports and a Citrix environment are an asset
- An analytical mindset with problem-solving skills and ability to think outside of the box
