Reporting to the Director of Housekeeping, the Housekeeping Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the department (arrival/departure/group/VIP) and ensures that company standards are met. This person will work closely with the front desk and engineering department. As the industry is ever-changing, the responsibilities of this position will change and evolve accordingly.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of employees
• Plan and assign tasks to staff members
• Adjust schedules based on occupancy levels
• Manage stocks of cleaning products and guest supplies
• Ensure compliance with rules and procedures
• Participate in employee performance management
• Ensure proper application of the collective agreement
• Ensure the health and safety of personnel
• Coordinate services with external companies/suppliers
• Coach and mentor employees
• Inspect rooms
• Participate in the disciplinary process
• Ensure quality customer service and manage customer complaints
• Any other related tasks to ensure the quality of the department's service.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Proficiency in hotel management software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role in housekeeping for a luxury hotel.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures.
• Familiarity with hotel management software.
• Degree or diploma in hotel management or a related field preferred.
• Training or certification in customer service would be an asset.

Languages : Bilingualism (French and English), both oral and written, is required for this position as we serve an international clientele.
