Job description
Roseway Manor is a 66 bed Long Term Care Facility located in Shelburne, NS. Our Leadership Team is actively recruiting Registered Nurses to join our team. We currently have casual positions available.
Our Registered Nurses are expected to consistently practice safe, compassionate, competent, and ethical care throughout the continuum of health and illness of the residents.
- Ability to supervise more than 20 people and staff in various areas of responsibility
- Work under pressure, attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, fast paced environment, standing for extended periods of time, sitting, large workload, physically demanding, and manual dexterity
- Clear judgement, client focused, organized, initiative, team player, excellent oral communication, excellent interpersonal skills and reliability
- Monitor, assess, document and report symptoms and changes in patients conditions, operate or monitor medical apparatuses or equipment, assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions, dispense and administer medications and treatments and prescribed by a Physician, collaborate to plan, implement, co-ordinate, and evaluate patient care, provide nursing care
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse by Provincial Authorities
- Must be registered with the College of Registered Nurses of Nova Scotia or be eligible to register
- Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
