Job description
Good Shepherd Villas is 63 room personal care home. Personal Care Homes are privately owned and operated facilities that offer adult
accommodation and meals as well as 24 hour supervision and assistance with personal care.
We are currently seeking highly motivated individuals with a positive attitude to work as Personal Care Workers.
Specific Skills:
Personal care of the elderly or disabled that includes answering call signals, bathing, dressing and grooming residents.
Assist to transfer and mobilize resident using appropriate techniques.
Assist to serve meals and clear off of used items after meals.
Supervision and assist in all activities of daily living as needed.
Taking vital signs. Doing blood sugar testing and collection of urine samples. Administration of medication.
Languages: English
Education: Grade 12
Experience:1 year to less than 2 years
